Rob's fabulous colleagues at the Stage Door at Glyndebourne have recently approached me to see how they can help the Robert Poulton Foundation.
They have decided that they would like to sell charity sweets backstage as a fun way of fundraising.
I am really moved that three and a half years after losing my wonderful Robbie, so many people are still talking about him and laughing at his funny stories, and I love the fact that his presence will still be backstage at Glyndebourne.
In order to kick off the scheme we need to raise £400. I am incredibly grateful for all of the support that I have been given throughout the last few years. If you feel that you would like to donate to help the Robbie sweetie scheme that would be wonderful.
Alternatively if you have any other offers of support, do get in touch.
Thank you all so much for your ongoing support.

Bewl Water Dragon Boat Race Fairytale
On 12th September 2015 we took part in the annual Dragon Boat Race at Bewl Water. We raced two boats and had 26 rowers in all. We had some fabulous donations of cupcakes which we sold on our stall and raised £178.60. We are still awaiting sponsorship to come in but we believe we have raised in excess of £1,000 and hopefully a lot more.
Our 26 rowers did us proud and amazingly we came 4th out of 60 teams. More importantly everyone, including our supporters had a fabulous fairytale day. We all enjoyed it so much that we intend to do it all again next year. The boys have already requested a drag queen theme for next year!

Intrepid 12 year old conquers mountain challenge
A selfless youngster at a Mayfield school has spoken of her joy at climbing one of the highest mountains in Asia to raise a huge amount for charity.
Twelve-year-old Tali Cunningham wanted to raise funds for the Robert Poulton Foundation.
The Skippers Hill Manor Preparatory School student decided to take up the challenge of Mount Kinabalu.
So far she has raised more than £1,400 for the foundation after climbing to the peak of 4,096 metres in 19 hours.
She had to survive the harsh conditions with a whipping wind and plunging temperatures to get to the summit with her step father James Burke.
Speaking of her success the intrepid youngster said: “We had to wrap up warm as it was freezing and wear head torches. The last thousand meters was very challenging. We used ropes to climb up the steep granite slope. The air got thinner and the temperature dropped to 4C. Finally after 19 hours of walking we had done it. I was exhausted beyond exhaustion but seriously happy to find out that I had raised £1,445! It was an amazing experience that I will never forget. Ever.”
Headmaster Tim Lewis added: “This was a gutsy performance which tested Tali’s strength of character but her determination kept her going right to the summit. All of us at Skippers are truly proud of her.”

"Rob’s presence on the touchline, his humour and his booming baritone have been sadly missed during the last 2 years, and this has been a wonderful way of celebrating his contribution to our boys’ lives. I’d like to thank you all very much." said Philippa Poulton.
